How do I become independent?

I'm the last one in the family so I was babied a lot growing up. I'm 27 now. I look at my brother and sister and they are all successful expect me! =( My dad still gives me money every month. He bought my house, my car. My allowance is 2500 a month. I have never worked in my life. My brother calls me a spoil brat. I'm trying to be independent. My sisters also buy me things, I don't ask for them. They tell me it's because I'm the little sister and they love me. I think its pitty!..I don't know...My parents are both retired. My father is always there for me when I need him. Money is not an issue to him. I really don't know what it's like to to have no money so Im afraid if I go try to be on my own, I'll starve or something!....Where should I start?...
