My Genesis may be broken, or the rf unit may be fried?

I need some help, i just recently bought a sega genesis model 2, and i brought it home today to test it out, but no picture. I have a Philips Standard 2003 TV, i don't know if it's the tv, the rf box, or the genesis may have bad port. The light turns on but nothing else happens.
